From today's presentation, I learned about other computer programs where you can make your own city with people and make them have certain features enabled within the game. It was very interesting and it was all created with one program. I also learned that sometimes in Flash, it can take several months to finish commands. I leaned about some of the computer concepts. I also learned that there are classes offered such as iPhone classes and if enough students are interested in a class and want it offered, then it can be possible to have it. I never knew there was a club that is relevant to computer majors, I thought that was interesting as well. We also had to go and seek out some guidance from the advisers regarding out major.
For my peer advising, I chose professors that deal with my emphasis. I chose Mr.C and Mr.T for my peer advisers. (For privacy reasons, I only state the first letter of the last name). I have e-mailed them already and asked if I can set up an appointment for my class to see what other classes I still have to take. After my freshman year, I was the one that chose all of my own classes according to the school website because of my previous experiences. So far I have done a great job choosing my own classes and have been successful in doing so, but for more feedback, it would be great to get additional opinions.
